McDonald's Is Discontinuing 3 Popular McCafé Items

McDonald's fans know that even their favorite items might be discontinued. The chain reduces menus again, shattering fans' emotions.

The fast-food chain will discontinue three McCafé pastry dishes this month.

This move's motives were unclear. McDonald's consumers and celebrities love the sweet delights.

Our menu changes based on fan feedback. "This month, we'll phase out our McCafé Bakery line-up, including the Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin,

and Cinnamon Roll," the chain said. "We know goodbyes are never easy—but fans can still satisfy their sweet tooth

with our iconic Chocolate Chip Cookies, Baked Apple Pie and frozen desserts at restaurants nationwide."

In October 2020, McDonald's added its first baked products to its permanent menu in eight years, making the soon-to-be-discontinued delicacies a welcome morning addition.

McDonald's had previously focused on savory breakfast offerings, but the new baked items were aimed to give its morning customers sweet options.

Breakfast was well-received. Fans are disappointed that McDonald's is phasing them out.

McDonald's baked goods enthusiasts will mourn this loss, but a new dessert may help. McDonald's is temporarily offering a Cookies & Crème Pie in select U.S. markets.
