Chick-fil-A's Revolutionary New Drive-Thru

Chick-fil-A boasts the longest and busiest drive-thru lanes of all major fast-food businesses,

but it wants to serve more customers faster. In 2024, the chain will debut a drive-thru restaurant.

Next year, the chicken business will test two new restaurant ideas, including a four-lane drive-thru in Atlanta that can hold 75 cars.

The Atlanta Chick-fil-A will be the first with four lanes and twice the cooking capacity. The second novel idea is a walk-up site in novel York City

Chick-fil-A claimed these new restaurants will serve customers who seek faster and easier ordering.

"Understanding this desire for convenience, the locations for these tests were intentionally selected with the customers in mind,

giving them more control over their desired experience and cutting down wait time,

while continuing to provide genuine hospitality and care to every guest," said Khalilah Cooper, Chick-fil-A's executive director of restaurant design.

The new Atlanta drive-thru lanes will accept orders as normal. They can also pre-order and pick up their food via mobile drive-thrus.

The NYC walk-up restaurant will let customers order ahead on the Chick-fil-A smartphone and pick it up on the fly.
