Refund Policies

970 Lax Refund Policy Spring (White/Blue Teams)

 

Refund Request Reasons Accepted by 970 Lax:

  1. Medical
  2. Personal (handled on a case-by-case basis)

 

Prior to Spring Season beginning:

 

  • If a player should become injured with an injury that prevents him/her from playing in the Spring Season prior to the Spring Season beginning, there will be a full refund of the money put down for the Spring Season to that point. (Not including the administration fees. See below.)
  • If a player should become injured with an injury that only allows him/her to play in a part of the Spring Season, there will be a prorated charge for the time that they are allowed to play. Deposit will not be returned in this case.

 

Administration Fees: 

  • Should a player request a refund, depending on the date, there will be an associated admin fee that will be deducted from the refund. 
    • December 1 - January 31 $20
    • February 1 - February 15 $50
    • February 16 - March 1 $100

 

After March 1st, refund requests will not be accepted for Spring. 

 

Should the season be cancelled due to COVID, or other scenarios outside of 970 Lax control, refunds will be prorated based on how much of the season was completed. 

 

Refund Procedure:

  • In all instances of pre-season injury, a note from a Doctor must be submitted in order to have the refund request processed. 
    • Note must include a statement from the Doctor stating that the player will not be able to participate in the season or the amount of time that the player will be unable to play. 
  • To request a refund, please send an email to: josh@970lax.com with the following information: Player’s name, grade and the reason for the refund request.

Refund Request Reasons Accepted by 970 Lax for AYL and Select Teams:

  1. Medical

 

Prior to Spring Season beginning:

 

  • If a player should become injured with an injury that prevents him from playing in the Spring Season prior to the Spring Season beginning, there will be a full refund of the money put down for the Spring Season to that point. (Not including the administration fees. See below.)

  • If a player should become injured with an injury that only allows him/her to play in a part of the Fall Season, there will be a prorated charge for the time that they are allowed to play. Deposit will not be returned in this case.

    • September 1 - 1st day of Practices $50

Refund Request Reasons Accepted by 970 Lax for Select & High School Teams

  1. Medical

 

Prior to the Season beginning:

 

  • If a player should become injured with an injury that prevents him from playing in the Season prior to the Season beginning, there will be a full refund of the money put down for that Season to that point. (Not including the administration fees. See below.)
  • If a player should become injured with an injury that only allows him to play in a part of the Season, there will be a prorated charge for the time that they are allowed to play. Deposit will not be returned in this case.

 

 

Administration Fees Select & High School Teams: 

  • Should a player request a refund, depending on the date, there will be an associated admin fee that will be deducted from the refund.  
    • Week After Receiving Team Invite - 2 weeks after accepting invite $20
    • 3 - 4 weeks after accepting invite $50
    • 5 - 6 weeks after accepting invite $100

 

Refund requests will not be accepted after 8 weeks prior to the first tournament for Select & High School Teams. 

 

Should the season be cancelled due to COVID, or other scenarios outside of 970 Lax control, refunds will be prorated based on how much of the season was completed. 

 

If players are unable to make tournaments or practices, 970 Lax must be made aware of this prior to the season beginning in order to receive a prorated price. If the season begins and 970 Lax is not aware of a player missing practices or tournaments, the player will still be required to pay the registration fee in full.
