The 970 Lax Beginner Clinics program is a Co-Ed program for children 3 years old up till 8th Grade. The dual purpose of these Clinics is to show beginners the fun of the game while teaching basic lacrosse skills, including cradling, scooping, passing, catching, and shooting.
Each session is one hour long and combines lacrosse fundamentals with non-competitive, age-appropriate mini-games.
Our plan is to offer this program monthly while keeping prices affordable and giving players the option to practice one or two days a week.
Our mission is to grow lacrosse in Northern Colorado with the goal to have an internal league and eventually graduate players into our k-8th grade league that happens every spring where we get to play other towns from the Northern Colorado and Denver area.
No equipment is needed. We will provide a stick and soft ball for all players to use while at the clinic. If any players decide they would like to have their own stick our recommendation would be to buy:
Stringking Complete 2 Junior (10 years old and below) - $69.99
- If you use code 970Lax when you check out, you will get 15-20 percent off any purchases from www.lax.com
For all other Equipment please see our Equipment Store and Guide tab under "STORES".
